Palace on Wheels new season begins from July 20

The new season of the Palace on Wheels begins from July 20. Now get married in a luxurious train, booking starts from September.

Rajasthan’s iconic Palace on Wheels, renowned for its regal interiors and exquisite dining, will now host weddings and other ceremonies. Expected to generate significant revenue, a travel company has partnered to offer these services, starting July 20, making it a unique offering. 

Unveiling weddings onboard alongside regal features and deluxe cabins, is a first for a moving train. Weddings and other rituals can be conducted in the royal train Palace on Wheels. The new season of the train will start from July 20 and it is believed that at least five weddings will be held in it by the end of the year. 

It is known that till now marriages do not take place in trains in the world and now Palace on Wheels will be the first train in which people can get married. Palace on Wheels travels to Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur and Agra.

Revenue will increase, now only foreigners go

Currently, the Palace on Wheels being very expensive, only 99% of the foreign tourists are able to enjoy it. But now with this new program it is expected that Bollywood celebrities, Indian businessmen and others will also make bookings in Palace on Wheels and this will generate revenue. 

Bookings have to be made in advance for weddings. The wedding rates will be decided depending on the distance between the venues. The average fare per person per day in the train is Rs 1 lakh.
