News

Good news for ration card holders associated with the Food Security Scheme. The date for e-KYC has now been extended to 15th July. If e-KYC is not done, the name of the member will be removed from the scheme which means they will not get wheat.

The last date of e-KYC has been extended to 15th July 2024 which was earlier 30th June 2024. All ration card holders involved in food security should also go to their nearest ration dealer and get the process of e-KYC completed.

It is necessary for all the applicants whose name is there in each ration card to complete the ration card eKYC process. If the names of 5 people of the family are included in one ration card, then it is necessary to complete the e-KYC process separately for all these 5 people.

Along with this, citizens whose name is included in the ration card will have to go to the nearest fair price shop and get biometric verification done from the ration dealer. To get your ration card e-KYC, you have to go to your nearest dealer from where you buy ration and get your ration card e-KYC.

For a ration card e-KYC, you have to take an Aadhar card to your nearest dealer. Your e-KYC will be done only by linking your Aadhar card. Ration Card e-KYC is free. If any consumer does not have fingerprints, then e-KYC will be done for them using an iris machine.
